The LAD Bible is a company that specialises in posting a mixture of photos and videos across social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, Instagram, Vine and YouTube. Their website is the 12th most popular in the UK, and posts lots of relatable content to its target audience of 18 - 24-year-olds, lending itself to social media.
They recently launched their own app, making it even more accessible, and with receiving more than 3.5 likes and shares every day, and with over 17 million followers across social media, it is almost impossible to go to one of these platforms and not see and LAD bible post.
This is a great place for a video to go viral, with is constantly being shared and multiple people seeing it. Some of the content that is posted they find themselves and others are submitted by viewers.
We had the idea of possibly trying to submit the viral videos we make for our digital news unit to them and seeing if they would post it to their website, aiding our investigation looking at why how videos go viral and what makes them so popular.
