STUDIO PRODUCTION • Idea Development

After splitting into groups and discussing our ideas, I have developed mine with some help to come up with a theme and name for the show.

Theme:
I have decided that the show is now going to be based on a funfair and the different rounds will now be the teams playing different fairground games. The set design will be a skyline of a fair, and I want to have a popcorn and candy floss stall as props in around the set.

Round 1:
The two teams will have to a series of quick fire questions, the amount of questions each team gets right will be the number of throws they get at the coconut shy. Different coconuts are worth different amounts of points. Ones closer are worth 10 and ones further back and higher are with more as they are harder to hit. The aim is to get as many points as possible from the coconut shy as those are the points added to their total score.

Round 2:
2 members of the audience are chosen at random and made to come up on set. They are then sat behind target boards and made where there'll be a circle cut out for them to put their heads through. The teams will then have a limited time to throw wet sponges at the targets, aiming for their faces. The teams get 20 points if they hit the audience member in the face, and 10 if the get the outer ring of the target, anywhere else and they'd on't get any points.

Style and Tone:
For the style I want it to be entertaining and fun. It is targeted at a family audience so it has to have different elements that would no only interest children but also adults. It is to have a light hearted tone and I would like the presenter to bring a comedy element to the show.
