Overall, I'm happy with the way our final video came out. Due to extensive planning, when it came to filming we knew what we wanted and needed to get. I think that writing our script quite early and completing the pre-production side of it early on in the project really helped us because it gave us lots of opportunities to make changes and check through what we had done.  What went well? I think filming went well for us. Sammie made a good connection with the location and the owner of the farm so he was more than happy for us to go over these and film multiple times. We had planned out exactly what we wanted so we were prepared when we went there.  I feel that editing the video was a strong point for us because we were all equally involved and everyone had the chance to share their opinions on what we wanted. We took on the feedback we were given in our viewings with Helen and our versions of the documentary are very different. I think we all made the effort to work as

Sync Assembly: When first putting a sync assembly together we found that it was really long and there would be lots of interview clips that we would have to cut down to make sure that it was the right length.  We also found that we would need to film quite a bit of wildlife to make it look like an actually nature documentary as it just looked like one long interview.  Sound: Editing the sound was harder than we anticipated. There were lots of jumps between volume and the sound was sometimes very obvious that it had been editing together. In order to make sure that we had eliminated  all of these issues, we played the video out loud on lots of different computers and on the projector so we could listen through multiple times and see if we could hear any of the jumps or cuts and differences in volume.   Colour: We had to go through and change the colour on some of the clips to make sure that they all matched. After editing through our video and placing in the commentary that Sammi had already recorded, we found that the sound quality wasn't very good so we decided to bring Carol into the studios and re-recorded the commentary as a group.  Writing the commentary: We changed some of our commentary and got Helen to read through it and make sure the it all sounded ok and matched with our pictures. She also helped us with our in and out words making sure that one piece of audio flowed into the next between our commentary and interviews.  Recording: To record our commentary we used the studios recording room and recorded onto pro tools. We found this quite easy and straight forward and the sound quality came out much better than before. As Carol was recording her lines, we had the video playing in the background so that we could time it with our video and make sure that it fitted in with the shots. for example, we wanted to have Carol say Broadditch Farm as the sign for it
